As a therapist, my goal is to connect with individuals who have struggled with getting the help or support they want or need for their mental health. You may struggle with asking for help because you believe you're not worthy of it; or your culture says “you don't need therapy;” or you've had negative experiences within society and their socially systemic challenges. Whatever the reason is, I believe every person deserves to receive help and support. It takes courage to ask for help, and I view it as a strength! We are social beings who desire connection and a sense of belonging.
In my therapeutic work, I offer compassion, honesty, and humor to every client. I have experience working with families, parents, and children. The knowledge that I have to support you and the changes you want to make include my training in Family Therapy, DBT, with an emphasis in trauma.
I understand it is challenging to ask for help and learn how to trust someone with your struggles. If you are willing to connect with me, you will be given the space that you deserve to experience healing. I hope you hear from you soon.
